Rex: the abrasive cream for gelcoat, which is revising polishing processes on composite materials. Especially, it is optimizing the processes, reducing consumption and working times.
Just over six months have passed since REX was officially launched at the JEC show in Paris last April. And probably not even in Pai Cristal we expected such a response from the market, and such success.
Especially because, even before REX, with NW 1 PLUS paste, we had been able to answer very well to the polishing needs not only of boat builders but of the entire composites industry: a water-based compound that shortened the sanding process, bringing gloss to almost 90 G.U., starting from P800 sanding marks.
REX has further enhanced these benefits, plus it is creamier, more easily spreadable, more workable, wetter longer, thus making the polishing process easier even for less experienced workers.
