PaiCar: a polishing system
Why do PaiCar polishing compounds have each one a foam pad to match them with? Is it possible to use them with different pads? Let’s find out together!
PaiCar polishing compounds have been designed to be easy to use by all skill levels. And yes, they were designed to deliver excellent results even when included into existing polishing processes.
What does it mean? It means that, for instance, using PAICAR 03 polish with a pad other than DA-03 foam pad (i.e. different from the pad with which this polish was developed) is possible. Not only is it possible: the result will still be very good.
What is a polishing system?
The thing to keep in mind here is that PaiCar compounds are not lonely planets. They are includes into a polishing system. A polishing system requires that there is a combination (compound, pad, type of machine, times, methods) that allows maximum performance and the best possible result to be obtained in less time and with minimal effort.
So, yes, PaiCar compounds “work” if used with different pads or in processes other than those recommended. However, the complete PaiCar “compound + pad” system covers the distance between a very good and an excellent result.
