Description
NW 1 is the heavy cutting polishing compound for gelcoat and lacquered surfaces. Pai Boat Composites cutting polishing compound NW 1 is perfect for polishing fiberglass components, polyester gelcoat, grp parts, epoxy resin and carbon. It quickly removes scratches and P600-P800 sanding marks as well as it is able to restore heavily oxidized gelcoat and boats with yellowing, without overheating the surface. NW 1 cutting polishing compounds assures a high quality finish without marks and haze as well as with low particles’ over-splatting. NW 1 is widely appreciated as, through its specific abrasive components, it makes polishing easier and faster and allows to reduce the sanding processes. For maximum performance, the use of NW 1 is recommended with Pai Boat Composites wool pads or with Pai Boat Composites hard white foam polishing pads.
HOW TO USE
Mix well, then apply by variable speed polisher, selecting an anti-scratch wool pad SL3. Apply a small quantity of compound on the polisher-pad. Let the polisher turn at low revolutions, speeding them up (800-1500 RPM) while spreading the paste with crossed movements. Eventually, wipe it off with a clean cloth.
